Are you awake? I have trouble sleeping in the dark, and by myself. Can I come sleep with you in your room? I don't care if you guys have the lights off. It's just easier for me to sleep with someone else in the room when it's dark like this.
Have you the faintest concept of the time? But fine. If you can make it to my room you might enter. The pillows are enough to be comfortable with if the menace's demons are not out.
Who said it needs to be wartime for us to lay next to each other? Is it so odd that I just want to lay down next to you? Or are you bothered by platonic snuggles?
[There's some rustling in the back, and it's Caelus' footsteps walking through the hallway of the dorms. They're close enough to where they can just teleport to the front of the door, bypassing all the guards and unseelie folk.
There's several knocks on the door, but they're soft.]
[Genesis groans, disconnects the call, and shuffles toward the door. He's groggy and not at all put together to his proper daily beauty when he opens the door. His eyes, of course, glow in the darkness. That's something they always do, but it's harder to see in daylight.]
[Once the door opens, they look down at Genesis. It's always light outside when they interact, so seeing how bright his eyes actually are is a bit of a surprise. Caelus left blinking a few times, before they step inside.]
You have pretty eyes.
[They walk past Genesis, and sit at the edge of the bed where they assume Genesis' bed is. Their eyes darting around before landing back on their friend. A bit... Amused that Genesis doesn't have his usual beauty in the day time, but for what it's worth, he was still good looking.]
[Pretty eyes? Genesis blushes, hand coming up over his lips as he processes that. No one says such things. The eyes of a Soldier are never pretty. They are dangerous. He looks away and gestures toward his bed.]
[Honestly, they're surprised by the blush. They figured Genesis received comments like that quite often, because he is a handsome man. Either way, they don't mention it at all, and simply waddle into bed where the sheets were still warm. They cling to the sheets and the warmth it brings, but they give an expectant look.]
Well, are you just gonna stand there all day? Get over here.
[They're getting comfortable on the bed, and the warmth of a body still lingers. And... Honestly, it helps with all the demons, Genesis and Nahobino on the bed over there. It didn't feel as empty, so maybe they can actually sleep without another body.]
If you want your bed, I can give it back. I'll happily just sleep on the middle of the floor since it's between you and Nahobino. That'll give the same feeling as when my children sleep beside me.
[That is a beyond foreign concept to Genesis. Meanwhile he's building up the mound of pillows to settle into it. Honestly, he doesn't need the sleep. He can go several days without it. He'll just take a nap tomorrow.]

[You know. Childhood trauma and all of that.]

[And he sounds grumpy about it.]

[A pause.]
Are you Nahobino's roommate?

[Wait, the man knows his menace? Genesis considers that. Maybe he can pawn Caelus on the man.]
You could always curl up with him.

Just go lay down, Caelus.

I am going to take the pillows, thank you very much.

[They aren't bothered by it, much less care. If their son wanted to cling onto them, they'd happily allow it.]
I actually don't need sleep, but sleep kills the time. So, really, if you want your bed back, I can sleep on the floor.
[They feel kind of bad for making him sleep on those pillows man.]

[Genesis just wants to sleep.]
